I am a retiree who receives Retiree Health Reimbursement Account in lieu of retiree health care. Where can I get more information about using the RHRA?

Edison employees hired on or after Dec. 31, 2017 received a $200 monthly contribution to a Retiree Health Reimbursement Account (RHRA) in lieu of retiree health care.  Retirees may use these RHRA funds for premiums and out-of-pocket expenses, such as copayments and coinsurance.

If you are a retiree with an RHRA, contact EIX Benefits Connection at (866) 693-4947 or visit www.eixbenefits.com for more information about how to access your account and how to file reimbursement claims.

Where can I find premium rates for the Edison plans?

Your premium rates for the Edison plans are based on several factors including your eligibility category, your geographic location, your eligibility for Medicare, the number of eligible dependents you will cover, and your benefit plan selection.  Rates are not available on this site – however, you can reference rates on EIX Benefits Connection.

To find your rates:

  • Visit www.eixbenefits.com and log in with your established username and password.
  • Once logged in, navigate to Library > Plan Information > About Your Benefits > Health & Welfare > Retiree Health Care Rates.
  • You may also call (866) 693-4947 to speak to a representative.

The premium rates for the 2025 plan year will be available in the Annual Enrollment module on EIX Benefits Connection beginning on Oct. 21.
